Social Communication Intensive Therapy
Our SCIT program combines direct instruction with real life community experiences to give children the opportunity to develop friendships and transfer the skills they have learned to an authentic environment.
Therapeutic themes include: developing and maintaining friendship, self-regulation, maintaining focus and attention, boundaries, and positive thinking.
The SCIT program runs in 8-week cycles throughout the school year.
Cycle 1: September - November
Cycle 2: November - February
Cycle 3: February - April
Cycle 4: April - June
Cost per 8-week cycle is $1,200.
Eligible for Autism Funding.

4:30 - 4:50 Greetings, Schedule, & Games
4:50 - 5:30 Small Group Social Skills Lesson - topics include making friends, conversation, perspective taking, assertive communication & self-advocacy
5:30 - 7:00 Special Activity - swimming, arcade, arts & crafts, bowling and more!
SNACK - a variety of fun snacks are provided
7:15 - 7:30 Experience Page - photo & written self-reflection
