    DAYBREAK
APPOINTMENT POLICY

Intake Appointment

First meetings are considered intake appointments and are complimentary.

If a first appointment is missed, and the family wishes to rebook, regular hourly rates will apply.

Cancelled Appointment / No Show

When you book your appointment, or register for a program, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other families. For ongoing services, including all programs, tutoring, and SLP, any missed or cancelled appointments will be charged at full cost of the appointment fee. Similar to many other weekly services for children and youth (e.g. music, art, sports) registration in Daybreak services is a commitment to a predetermined set of multiple appointments, regardless of attendance.

Missed appointments make it difficult for us to offer consistent, quality therapy and services to your child or family member, as well as to run our clinic and pay our staff.

Frequent cancellations may result in loss of time slot.

Cancellation by Daybreak

If Daybreak is unable to provide a service (e.g., staff illness with unavailable alternative staff), there will be no charge for that appointment. In the event that an appointment has been prepaid, a credit will be applied to your account.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please text us at 604-834-9506 as soon as possible.

If necessary, please leave a detailed voice message.

Termination of Services

Families have the option to permanently terminate services at any time. There is no minimum required notification period and zero financial penalty. Please let us know as much as possible ahead of time if you have decided to end services with any Daybreak practitioner.

Thank you for your understanding.
